Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment Ltd is seeking an Electrical Assessor in Birmingham to join a respected training provider. You will work with electrical apprentices, assess practical skills, and guide NVQ portfolios while enjoying hybrid working and a clear career path.

You must be a qualified Electrician with an NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation and a valid ECS/JIB Gold Card. Full training is provided to become a qualified assessor, with the salary bracket £36,000–£40,000 and generous holiday.

Qualifications

• Qualified Electrician with an NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation and a valid ECS/JIB Gold Card.
• Strong practical electrical experience; teaching or assessing experience not required.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Conduct workplace assessments for electrical apprentices.
• Visit apprentice workplaces to verify practical skills and progress.
• Manage your own diary with hybrid working and flexible scheduling.
• Coach and mentor apprentices toward NVQ portfolios.
• Travel to local apprentice sites and support their development.
