In this role, you'll work with electrical apprentices as they progress towards their NVQ qualifications. You'll manage your own caseload, visiting apprentices in the workplace to assess their practical skills, review their progress and support them in building their NVQ portfolios. With a combination of home working and site visits, you'll have the flexibility to organise your own diary and manage your workload. Full training will be provided to help you make the transition from industry into assessing.
The ideal candidate will be a qualified Electrician with an NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation and a valid ECS/JIB Gold Card. You'll have a strong practical background and enjoy sharing your knowledge with others. Previous assessing or teaching experience is not required, making this an ideal opportunity for someone looking to take the next step in their career.
