Job summary

Abtech Ltd in Sheffield is seeking an Assembly Operative to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis. You will assemble electrical connection and lighting products to required specifications, using hand and power tools, and follow works orders and drawings.

This role offers a Monday–Friday schedule (40 hours), early finish on Fridays, and benefits including pension, health support, generous holiday entitlement, and a park-and-go facility.

Qualifications

• Experience on a production line within manufacturing.
• Ability to operate hand and power tools and read technical drawings.
• Customer-focused with strong communication and listening skills.
• Minimum five GCSEs or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Assemble box kits and other product variations.
• Maintain accurate production and progress records.
• Report missing, incorrect or defective components.
• Monitor packing material stock levels.
• Support and train new employees and agency staff.
