Job summary

HRGO Recruitment is seeking an Electrical Assembly and Test Technician for a leading manufacturer in the Cambourne – St. Neots area. This permanent, factory-based role offers 39 hours per week, Mon–Fri, with 07:30 start and early finish on Fridays.

You will wire machines, carry out functional testing and basic fault finding, and support electrical work across the factory. Salary to £40,560 per year with overtime paid at time‑and‑a‑half, 20 days' holiday rising to 26, pension, life assurance,

Qualifications

• Machine wiring/industrial electrical assembly background.
• Confident reading drawings and fault diagnosis.
• Experience with DOL and VFD systems.
• Good teamwork and attention to quality/safety.

Responsibilities

• Machine wiring (sensors, motors, actuators, interconnects).
• Read schematics/layout drawings/BOMs.
• Functional testing + basic fault-finding.
• Assist with installs, upgrades and improvement projects.
