Job summary

CUBE Consulting in the United Kingdom is seeking an Electrical/Mechanical Assembly Technician to join our manufacturing team. The role involves assembling and testing components with precision, following technical specifications and drawings, and contributing to the production of high quality goods.

Candidates should have proven electrical or mechanical knowledge, be detail oriented, able to work in a fast-paced environment, and comply with health and safety rules.

Qualifications

• Proven electrical or mechanical knowledge with experience in assembly or related roles.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Ability to follow technical instructions accurately and work as part of a team.
• Prior experience within assembly.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and adhere to health and safety regulations at all times.
• You must be able to drive as you may be assembling larger products alongside the engineers.

Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical electrical components using hand tools and power tools according to technical specifications and drawings.
• Conduct quality checks during assembly to ensure products meet company standards.
• Test product for functionality and repair as necessary.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organised workspace at all times.
• Assist in the identification and troubleshooting of assembly issues, escalating problems when necessary.
• Assisting in the warehouse during busy periods when required.
