Job summary

Quality Service Recruitment Limited in Castle Donington is seeking a Production Operative for a full-time role in a growing manufacturing environment. You will assemble lighting units using handheld tools, follow assembly instructions, and ensure products meet safety and quality standards before dispatch.

The role is in Castle Donington, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 07:30 to 16:00 and an early finish at 15:30 on Fridays.

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing, assembly or production environment.
• Electrical assembly experience or understanding of electrical safety.
• Good manual dexterity and ability to perform detailed, precise work.
• Strong attention to quality and detail.

Responsibilities

• Assemble lighting fixtures and components accurately and efficiently.
• Use handheld tools and assembly equipment safely.
• Carry out basic electrical wiring and connections as required.
• Follow technical drawings, work instructions and production schedules.
• Conduct quality checks throughout the assembly process.
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.
• Collaborate with colleagues to meet production targets.
