Job summary

Adecco Group UK & Ireland is seeking an experienced Electrical Assembler in Cheltenham. The role involves assembling and testing electrical sub-assemblies, building complete systems and documenting processes in a busy manufacturing environment.

The position is a 12-week temporary-to-permanent opportunity with a pay rate of £13.50 per hour, regular hours Monday to Friday, and on-site parking. A supportive team and long-term career potential are highlighted benefits.

Qualifications

• Previous assembly or electrical assembly experience is essential.
• Good dexterity and eye for detail are required.
• Experience in a production or manufacturing environment is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and test electrical sub-assemblies.
• Build and test complete systems.
• Assemble parts from stores.
• Integrate sub-assemblies into finished products.
• Complete documentation accurately.
• Use company tablets to access drawings, emails and team communications.
• Scan and record supplier information.
• Maintain a clean, tidy and organised workspace.
• Follow company processes to maintain high quality standards.
• Support stock control for production builds.

What you'll be doing:

• Assembling and testing electrical sub-assemblies
• Building and testing complete systems
• Assembling parts from stores
• Integrating sub-assemblies into finished products
• Completing documentation accurately
• Using company tablets to access engineering drawings, emails and team communications
• Scanning and recording supplier information
• Maintaining a clean, tidy and organised workspace
• Following company processes to maintain high quality standards
• Supporting stock control for production builds

What we're looking for:

• Previous assembly or electrical assembly experience (essential)
• Good dexterity and a strong eye for detail
• Experience within a production or manufacturing environment
• A reliable, positive and proactive approach
