Job summary

Staffline in Cheltenham is seeking an Assembly Technician to join our site on a Monday-Friday basis. The role offers a salary of £27,894 with a 6.30am–2pm shift, Friday finishing at 12:00. The position provides 27 paid holiday days, a staff canteen, free parking and complimentary tea and coffee.

As an Assembly Technician you will assemble mechanical components, test products and ensure adherence to SOPs, while meeting quality standards and maintaining health and safety practices.

Qualifications

• Experience of Production/Assembly.
• Experience of Electric/Manual Tools.
• Able to follow work instructions.
• Keen eye for detail and a conscientious attitude.

Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical (metal) components according to SOPs.
• Build and test products per instruction sheets to required quality standards.
• Address mechanical, electrical and pneumatic requirements as needed.
• Pack finished products for dispatch and carry out related duties.
• Adhere to company H&S policy and raise safety concerns where appropriate.

Main duties & responsibilities:

• Assembling mechanical (metal) components according to Standard Operating Procedures documents
• Build and test of products in line with instruction sheets to required quality standard
• Mechanical, Electrical and Pneumatic requirements
• Packing finished products ready for dispatch along with associated duties as required
• Ensure company H&S policy is adhered to raise safety concerns to supervision
