Job summary
Omega Resource Group are recruiting for an Assembly Technician to join their site in Cheltenham. You will assemble mechanical (metal) components according to SOPs and build and test products to the required quality standards.
The role covers mechanical, electrical and pneumatic aspects, packing finished items for dispatch and ensuring adherence to H&S policies. Monday to Friday, 6.30am to 2pm with Friday finish.
Qualifications
- Experience of Production/Assembly.
- Ability to use electric and manual tools.
- Capable of following work instructions.
- Keen eye for detail and a conscientious attitude.
Responsibilities
- Assemble mechanical (metal) components according to SOP documents.
- Build and test products per instruction sheets to required quality.
- Cover mechanical, electrical and pneumatic requirements.
- Pack finished products for dispatch and support related duties.
- Adhere to H&S policy and raise safety concerns to supervision.

- Assembling mechanical (metal) components according to Standard Operating Procedures documents
- Build and test of products in line with instruction sheets to required quality standard
- Mechanical, Electrical and Pneumatic requirements
- Packing finished products ready for dispatch along with associated duties as required
- Ensure company H&S policy is adhered to raise safety concerns to supervision
- Experience of Production/Assembly
- Experience of Electric/Manual Tools
- Able to follow work instructions
- Keen eye for detail and a conscientious attitude
