Job summary

Omega Resource Group is seeking an Assembly Operative for a temporary 3-month role in Staverton, between Gloucester and Cheltenham. The job involves assembling electrical and mechanical sub-assemblies, performing basic tests, and packing finished products in a manufacturing environment.

Ideally you will have assembly experience, be a strong team player, and IT literate. The position pays £13.50 per hour and is on-site in a busy production setting with logging of results in the company database.

Responsibilities

• Assemble electrical assemblies from kits issued to you.

• Pack finished products into specified packaging systems.
• Record test results and maintain a detailed log in the company database.
• Keep the work area tidy and maintain good housekeeping.

The Role

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Production Assembler to join an established manufacturing business ideally situated between Gloucester and Cheltenham.

You’ll ideally have prior experience in manufacturing, however other comparable experience will be considered.

Duties

• Assemble various electrical assemblies from kits issued to you
• Assemble various mechanical sub-assemblies from kits issued to you.
• Combining electrical and mechanical sub-assemblies into completed product.
• Runs basic tests on completed units in your work area.
• Pack finished and tested products into specific packaging systems.
• Record test results and keep a detailed log using company database
• Ensure good house keeping ensuring working area is tidy and organised
