Windsor Forest Colleges Group is seeking an experienced Electrical Specialist to lead the Electrical provision within Apprenticeships. The role is based at Slough & Langley College and offers a permanent, full-time position with a salary of £47,456 to £50,701 on the Support Staff pay scale.

You will oversee curriculum planning, quality assurance, and a delivery team, while coaching apprentices toward EPA readiness and building employer relationships to align training with industry needs.

Qualifications

• Vocational qualifications in Electrical Installation or Maintenance.
• 18th Edition certification.
• AM2/AM2S and recognised teaching or assessing qualifications or willingness to work towards them.
• Experience supervising or mentoring teams in a training environment.

Responsabilités

• Lead electrical programmes and own the electrical provision within Apprenticeships.
• Mentor and manage delivery team; plan curriculum and standardisation.
• Oversee quality assurance including EQA visits and IQA processes.
• Track learner progress and drive continuous improvement.
• Directly train, coach, and assess apprentices against industry standards.
• Build strong links with local and national employers to meet industry needs.
