Job summary

Windsor Forest Colleges Group is seeking an electrical specialist with team leadership experience to lead our Electrical provision within the Apprenticeships Department at the Slough & Langley College campus.

This full-time, permanent role offers a salary on the Support Staff pay scale (£47,456–£50,701), with responsibility for delivering and coordinating electrical programmes, mentoring delivery staff, and ensuring high-quality learner progress toward End Point Assessments.

Qualifications

• Relevant vocational qualifications in Electrical Installation or Maintenance.
• 18th Edition certification, AM2 / AM2S.
• Recognised teaching or assessing qualifications or willingness to work towards them.
• Experience leading a team within an electrical trade.

Responsibilities

• Take operational ownership of Electrical programmes within the Apprenticeships Department.
• Train, coach and assess a caseload of apprentices to industry standards.
• Oversee quality assurance, IQA processes and regular EPA readiness activities.
• Build relationships with local and national employers to meet industry needs.
