Job summary

The Windsor Forest Colleges Group seeks an experienced electrical specialist to lead our Electrical provision within the Apprenticeships Department at Slough & Langley College. You will oversee the delivery team, plan curricula, and ensure high standards of assessment and quality assurance.

You will train, coach and assess apprentices, monitor progress, and foster strong links with employers to ensure training meets real-world industry needs.

Qualifications

• Vocational qualifications in Electrical Installation or Maintenance.
• 18th Edition Certification.
• AM2/AM2S qualification or equivalent.
• Teaching or assessing qualification (or willingness to work towards).

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage Electrical provision within Apprenticeships.
• Mentor delivery team through curriculum planning and standardisation.
• Support EQA visits and IQA processes, tracking learner progress.
• Build strong relationships with local and national employers to align training with industry needs.
