Job summary

Barking & Dagenham College is seeking an Apprenticeship Manager – Electrical to lead our Electrical Apprenticeship provision. You will manage Trainer Coaches and Lecturers, ensuring excellent learner and employer outcomes and compliance with EPA and QA standards.

The role focuses on curriculum innovation, quality improvement, and strong employer engagement, with a fixed-term period of twelve months. A suitable teaching qualification and leadership experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading apprenticeship teams and managing staff development.
• Strong knowledge of apprenticeship standards, EPA, and QA processes.
• Experience working with awarding organisations and quality improvement planning.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational leadership for Electrical Apprenticeship provision.
• Lead a team of Trainer Coaches and Apprenticeship Lecturers to deliver high-quality learner, employer and quality outcomes.
• Drive curriculum innovation, quality improvement and employer engagement while aligning with industry reforms.
