Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is seeking an electrical installation and maintenance technician to join a multi-disciplined team across client sites in Newcastle. You will perform new installations and breakdown repairs, and you will test and inspect electrical systems in line with NIC guidelines while contributing refurbishment work from maintenance checks.

The role requires 18th Edition, City & Guilds 2361 Parts 1 and 2, and AM1/AM2 tests.

Qualifications

• Experience carrying out electrical installations for new works and breakdowns.
• Ability to test and inspect electrical installations per NIC documentation.
• Experience in refurbishment works arising from maintenance inspections.
• Able to respond to helpdesk reactive maintenance calls and carry out remedial work.
• Qualified as Competent Person (Electrical) per Authorised Person.
