Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland seeks an Electrical Installer/Maintenance Technician to perform wiring installations and repairs across client sites in Manchester. You will test, inspect and refurbish electrical systems, and respond to maintenance calls as part of a multi-disciplined team.

You must hold 18th Edition, City & Guilds 2361 Parts 1 and 2, and AM1/AM2 tests (or equivalent). The role requires covering multiple client locations and involves shift work described in the posting.

Qualifications

• Electrical installation and maintenance capabilities are required.
• City & Guilds 2361 Parts 1 and 2 Electrical Certificate is essential.
• AM1/AM2 practical tests completed (or equivalent) are needed.

About The Role

Days of Working: 12hr shift 6am - 6pm days and 6pm - 6am nights on a 4 on 4 off shift rotation

Role Overview

To provide general electrical installation and maintenance support on all buildings and plant as part of a multi disciplined team.

What you’ll do

• Carry out electrical installations for both New Works and Breakdowns.
• Testing and inspecting electrical installations in accordance with National Inspection Council documentation.
• Carrying out refurbishment works arising from breakdown or maintenance inspections.
• Responding to Helpdesk reactive maintenance / breakdown calls and carrying out remedial work as necessary. Providing feedback information to customer and helpdesk as required.
• Assume the role of Competent Person (Electrical) as authorised by the Authorised Person.
• Covering both of the client site locations.
• Other reasonable duties as agreed with EFS management.
