Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is seeking an electrician to provide general electrical installation and maintenance support across buildings and plant as part of a multi-disciplined team. Shifts are 12 hours (6am–6pm days, 6pm–6am nights) on a 4-on/4-off rotation.

You will carry out installations, test and inspect, and undertake refurbishment works arising from inspections. You will respond to helpdesk calls and may act as a Competent Person (Electrical) as required.

Qualifications

• 18th Edition electrical qualification or equivalent.
• City & Guilds 2361 Parts 1 & 2 electrical certificate.
• AM1/AM2 practical tests completed (or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical installations for new works and breakdowns.
• Test and inspect electrical installations in accordance with NICEIC documentation.
• Carry out refurbishment works arising from breakdown or maintenance inspections.
• Respond to helpdesk reactive maintenance/breakdown calls and provide feedback to customer and helpdesk as required.
• Assume the role of Competent Person (Electrical) as authorised by the Authorised Person.
• Covering both client site locations.
• Other reasonable duties as agreed with EFS management.

About The Role:
