Job summary

North Lanarkshire Council is recruiting 2 x Early Learning & Childcare Key Workers for Gartcosh Primary School & Nursery Class on a 30 hours per week term-time basis. The role involves planning and coordinating learning activities within a new nursery setup, supporting a caring and high-quality environment for young children.

A strong emphasis on collaboration with families and colleagues is noted. Applicants should have ELC experience and meet qualification requirements, including SSSC

Qualifications

• Experience working in an Early Learning & Childcare environment.
• Commitment to continuous professional learning and development.
• Registration requirements for Practitioner Level with the SSSC.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop and coordinate learning programmes in the Early Learning & Childcare setting to ensure positive outcomes for all children.
• Support and nurture children through engaging and stimulating learning experiences.
• Create, lead and inspire a dedicated team to foster collaboration and high-quality early years environments.
• Communicate effectively with children, parents, carers, colleagues and partner professionals.
