Job summary

North Lanarkshire Council's Early Learning & Childcare service is recruiting 3 x Early Learning & Childcare Support Workers on a 30 hours per week term-time basis at Baird Memorial Primary School & Nursery Class in Cumbernauld. The role focuses on supporting and nurturing children aged 3-5 with additional support needs, delivering engaging learning experiences.

Successful candidates must register with the SSSC and join the PVG scheme where required.

Responsibilities

• Support planning, development and co-ordination of learning programmes within the ELC setting.
• Deliver high-quality, child-centred services meeting individual needs of children and families.
• Communicate effectively with children, parents, carers, colleagues and partner professionals.
• Register and comply with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) requirements.
• Join the PVG scheme if not already a member and obtain a satisfactory record.
