Job summary

DAC Beachcroft's Casualty Injury team in Birmingham seeks an experienced lawyer or paralegal to manage EL/PL claims up to £100k, under supervision of senior lawyers. You will handle a varied caseload, liaise with clients, review instructions, and draft Witness Statements and Court documents.

The role offers training and ongoing support, with exposure to more complex matters, including negotiations and litigation. A practical, commercial approach and strong client handling are essential.

Qualifications

• Experienced EL/PL claims practitioner, likely Intermediate or Multi Track.
• Proven communication skills at all levels and strong client handling.

Responsibilities

• Manage a varied caseload of pre-litigated and litigated EL/PL claims.
• Screen matters and liaise with clients on receipt of instructions.
• Review instructions and advise on case prospects.
• Instruct experts and counsel and draft court documents.
• Maintain contact with clients and manage expectations.
• Meet financial and KPI targets, support training and mentoring.
