Job summary

DWF in Birmingham is recruiting a Solicitor or Associate to join the Major Injury and Casualty team. You will handle defendant EL, PL, Casualty, and related claims, drafting pleadings, conducting investigations, instructing experts, and managing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

The role is hybrid with office attendance in Birmingham two days per week. Essential: 2+ PQE in defendant litigation across EL, PL, Casualty; abuse experience would be advantageous.

Qualifications

• 2+ years' PQE in defendant litigation across EL/PL and Casualty.
• Experience handling Major Injury and Casualty claims is essential.
• Abuse experience would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of Major Injury and Casualty claims with EL/PL/abuse matters.
• Draft pleadings and client reports, attend court hearings, and meet court deadlines.
• Instruct experts and coordinate with Partners to service clients.
• Support junior team members and help develop business relationships.
