Job summary

Amcor is seeking an EHS Officer for our Cumbria site. This full-time role supports the Environment, Health and Safety agenda, coaching managers and supervisors, delivering pragmatic EHS solutions, and helping to drive a proactive safety culture across the site.

You will assist with audits, regulatory compliance, KPI reporting, training development, and integration of EHS systems into the site's Integrated Management System, while collaborating with production, maintenance and operations to

• In depth and broad practical experience of Occupational Health, Safety and Environmental
• Good IT Skills

Responsibilities

• Drive the development and implementation of EHS training and development
• Manage and improve EHS committee forums on site
• Support EHS Manager in reviewing investments and machinery
• Establish relationships with production floor, Safety and Union Representatives
• Maintain and improve Amcor Standards to comply with Key Priorities
• Support the EHS Manager in audits and reporting frameworks (internal & external)
• Support the EHS Manager in integrating EHS systems into the site IMS
