You will drive risk assessments, audits, training, and incident investigations, coordinate with external auditors, and partner with senior management to strengthen safety culture and meet business goals.

Qualifications

• Educated to degree level and/or NEBOSH level.
• Member of IOSH or equivalent with CPD.
• Previous experience in an EHS management role.
• Experience of Lean, 5S and Kaizen methodologies.
• Understanding of UK and EU H&S legislation.

Responsabilités

• Lead the EHS team to deliver site Health & Safety requirements.
• Develop and maintain EHS policies and related documentation.
• Conduct risk assessments and safe systems of work.
• Lead audits and liaise with auditors and regulators.
• Investigate accidents and near misses; implement corrective actions.
• Advise management on new EHS legislation and actions.
• Support managers with Safe Systems of Work and specialist advice.
• Coordinate safety reporting and safety committee activities.
