Job summary

EDF is seeking an experienced EHS professional to oversee all environmental, health and safety activities within the turbine hall. You will conduct inspections and audits, provide guidance to site teams, and lead incident reporting and corrective actions.

As part of the role, you will liaison with stakeholders to promote a positive safety culture, monitor performance metrics, and ensure adherence to UK safety laws and company requirements across site operations.

Qualifications

• NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent is required.
• IOSH Membership is often at least Tech IOSH level.
• CSCS Card for site access is required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all environmental, health and safety (EHS) activities within the turbine hall.
• Conduct inspections and audits to ensure compliance with EHS regulations and site procedures.
• Provide guidance and support to site teams on health and safety standards.
• Report and manage incidents, implementing corrective actions where required.
• Liaise with stakeholders to promote a positive safety culture across site operations.
• Monitor performance metrics and deliver updates to management teams.
• Ensure adherence to statutory and company safety requirements at all times.
