Job summary

EDF Energy Limited is seeking an experienced EHS professional to oversee environmental, health and safety activities at a major turbine hall site. You will conduct inspections, audits, and incident investigations, providing guidance to site teams to uphold high safety standards.

The role requires NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent) and IOSH membership, with CSCS for site access. You will work to promote a strong safety culture across our nuclear-related operations.

Qualifications

• NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent required.
• IOSH membership (Tech IOSH level) preferred.
• CSCS Card required for site access.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all environmental, health and safety (EHS) activities within the turbine hall.
• Conduct inspections and audits to ensure compliance with EHS regulations and site procedures.
• Provide guidance and support to site teams on health and safety standards.
• Report and manage incidents, implementing corrective actions where required.
• Liaise with stakeholders to promote a positive safety culture across site operations.
• Monitor performance metrics and deliver updates to management teams.
• Ensure adherence to statutory and company safety requirements at all times.
