Job summary

A recruitment agency is seeking an EHS Advisor for a full-time role in Portsmouth, UK. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in driving health, safety, and environmental compliance and will work closely with the EHS & Facilities Manager. Key responsibilities include coordinating compliance activities, conducting audits, and designing training programs. Candidates must hold a NEBOSH certificate and have relevant experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Qualifications

  • Must hold a NEBOSH certificate.
  • Experience with internal auditor training is required.
  • Ability to conduct and manage risk assessments and lead investigations.
  • Knowledge of ISO45001, ISO14001, and ISO22301 is important.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Drive compliance across business continuity, environmental, health, and safety practices.
  • Coordinate activities to maintain compliance with legal and corporate policies.
  • Design and deliver training, ensuring compliance and competency.
  • Complete internal and external audits against EHS & BC standards.
