Job summary

Lancashire County Council is recruiting for a role within the Inclusion Service in Preston. You will manage the full EHCP process and co‑produce high‑quality plans with children, families and partner agencies.

You will monitor provision, maintain records and support service improvement, ensuring timely, outcome‑focused decisions. Applicants should have SEND experience, sound knowledge of SEND legislation, and the ability to manage a diverse caseload with high quality documentation.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children, young people or families in SEND or multi‑agency settings.
• Strong understanding of SEND legislation, safeguarding and EHCP processes.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full end-to-end EHCP process from assessment to reassessment.
• Co-produce high‑quality, person‑centred plans with families and partner agencies.
• Monitor provision with professionals and maintain statutory timescales.
• Maintain accurate digital records and support service improvement activities.
• Promote inclusive, person‑centred practice and progression towards adulthood.
