Job summary

Salford City Council is seeking a Senior SEN Caseworker to support a small team responsible for assessment, drafting and amendment of EHCPs for children and young people aged 0-25 with SEND. You will oversee casework processes, coordinate annual reviews and transitions, and support staff through induction and training while ensuring high quality, statutory compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with children/young people with SEND.
• Strong knowledge of SEND code of practice and relevant acts.
• Experience managing a small team and coordinating annual reviews.

Responsibilities

• Manage placement and review of children and young people 0-25 with SEND.
• Coordinate year groups, annual reviews and transitions.
