Job Description:

SISS Station Systems Technician - Level 4 - London, United Kingdom (On-site)

Join our Engineering Team at Telent to innovate and develop solutions, working with technical experts committed to impactful work. Be part of a high-performing team managing complex and critical infrastructure projects.

Reporting to the Duty Manager, the Station Systems Technician will perform planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs on CCTV, CIS, PA, and SISS (Station Information and Security Systems). This role involves working permanent nights from Sunday to Thursday, 10pm to 6am, based at our Pirin Court Depot near Canning Town.

Responsibilities include:

• Assisting qualified technicians in fault rectification on CCTV, PAVA, PHP, and CIS screens
• Attending maintenance tasks
• Maintaining SISS assets and reporting station communication faults
• Using field IT equipment for maintenance data
• Coordinating with the Telent Service Centre for task updates

Candidate Profile:

This entry-level role is suitable for hands-on individuals who enjoy multi-tasking and learning. Experience in a similar role or knowledge of Network Rail safety procedures is advantageous.

Key Requirements:

• CCTV, IP networking, or electrical background
• Knowledge of O365 and IT awareness
• Problem-solving and fault-finding skills
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Willingness to work nights at Pirin Court Service Centre
