Job description

Are you passionate about global issues such as climate change, health, and clean energy? Do you thrive on building stories that make an impact and drive change? We’re looking for an energetic and ambitious Account Executive to join our team at M+C Saatchi UK, working across a portfolio of high-profile clients in the global and social impact space.

You’ll be joining a dynamic team delivering communications for some of the world’s most influential organisations, with a focus on climate, clean energy, food systems, and public health, among others. This is an incredible opportunity for someone who’s excited to build their career in strategic communications and account management, with strong mentorship, exposure to top-tier clients, and the chance to work on campaigns that make a difference.

About the role:

This is a hands-on role where you’ll hit the ground running supporting two high-profile climate and development clients. You'll also gain exposure across our broader portfolio, including commercial brands and government initiatives. You’ll play a crucial part in shaping content that cuts through – from press releases to toolkits to social copy – and help keep campaigns running smoothly with exceptional attention to detail.

While there is no “typical day” at M+C, responsibilities include:

  • Provide day-to-day support on client accounts, including attending meetings, managing timelines, and ensuring smooth delivery of work.
  • Manage account admin tasks including status reports with strong attention to detail.
  • Draft, edit, and proofread high-quality written content including press releases, toolkits, media materials, and social copy, ensuring clarity, consistency, and impact.
  • Conduct research to support strategic planning, thought leadership, and executive positioning initiatives - turning complex issues into simple, compelling messages.
  • Build and maintain strong media and influencer relationships; develop media lists and pitch stories to targeted outlets to raise client profiles and shape perceptions.
  • Monitor media and social coverage; compile reports, insights, and recommendations.
  • Coordinate and support client events.
  • Contribute to strategic thinking and planning across campaigns and client initiatives.
  • Demonstrate a working knowledge of social media platforms and their role in integrated communications.

What you'll bring:

  • Experience in PR, communications, or marketing – agency or in-house
  • Strong writing and editing skills for a variety of formats (press releases, toolkits, social copy, etc).
  • A strategic mindset and interest in global and social issues.
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills, with experience in managing timelines and deliverables.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team and under pressure.
  • A collaborative and positive team player with a “can do” attitude.
  • Bonus: If you are fluent in other languages, that’s a plus - but it’s not essential.
