Job description

The Role:
You will handle inbound calls from the public requiring appointments following a referral. This includes booking, re-scheduling, and cancelling appointments on a booking system. We seek good communicators who thrive in a fast-paced environment, valuing efficiency and accuracy. A polite and professional telephone manner, along with empathy and understanding of callers' needs, is essential.

What does an average day look like?
- Working in a lively and vibrant environment.
- Starting your day by signing into your systems to prepare for your shift.
- Assisting callers or family members who have received a referral, providing accurate information and support.
- Booking or rearranging appointments to fit clients' needs, acting as their first point of contact.
- Maintaining professionalism, politeness, and positivity at all times.
- Offering excellent service and ensuring data confidentiality in line with GDPR.

What do we need from you?
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to build collaborative relationships quickly.
- A positive attitude and ability to interact with diverse individuals.
- Professional and friendly telephone manner.
- Customer service experience.
- Experience working in target-driven environments.
- Competent PC skills and ability to navigate multiple systems.
- Good typing speed.
- Ownership of situations with positivity, resilience, and dedication to service excellence.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, engaging environment.

Additional Information:
- No holidays allowed within the first 8 weeks.
- Location: Work From Home (reviewed every 6 months).
- Shifts: Full-time, 40 hours, Monday to Friday, between 8:00 am and 8:00 pm.
- Training: 1-day induction and 2 days of training.
