The Role

As our Decontamination Manager, you will lead the delivery of the Decontamination service at Duchy Hospital in Cornwall. This is a fantastic opportunity for a progressive leader seeking the next step in their career. Join one of the key strategic Decontamination roles within Ramsay Health Care.

Responsibilities
  1. Provision of ISO 13485 standard decontamination service for reusable medical devices.
  2. Accountability for the operational performance of the decontamination service.
  3. Working within a defined budget to ensure efficient service delivery while maintaining quality.
  4. Working as an Autonomous Practitioner across all areas.
  5. Demonstrating excellent leadership skills to guide the team towards operational objectives.
  6. Supporting staff wellbeing and development through effective appraisal processes.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Extensive management experience within decontamination.
  • Must hold or be working towards a recognised decontamination qualification (NVQ/TVQ/Technical Certificate).
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and lead a team.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to implement change positively.
