Position: Sterile Services Technician (Bank)

Location: Circle Decontamination - Radlett

Shifts: Bank Shifts

Salary: Up to £12.89 per hour (depending on experience, training, and qualifications)

Circle Health Group Decontamination provides sterile equipment and instrumentation for surgical and interventional procedures across hospitals in England and Scotland. The unit operates 24/7 with rotating day and night shifts.

We are seeking a Sterile Services Technician to join our team in Radlett. This is a bank role, working on an "as and when required" basis, to support staffing during busy periods and cover staff absences.

Duties include:

1. Providing first-class decontamination sterile services to operating and clinical departments in accordance with HTM 01-01.
2. Assisting in decontamination, checking, assembly, packing, sterilisation, and delivery of medical and surgical equipment, endoscopes, and related items.
3. Maintaining good relationships with stakeholders.
4. Promoting and maintaining health & safety standards within the department.
5. Ensuring stock levels are adequate in working areas.
6. Following processes as directed by senior staff and in line with policies and procedures.

Candidate Requirements:

1. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
2. Positive attitude and proactive approach.
3. Previous experience in sterile services is required.
4. Some experience working within a sterile services unit is preferred.
