The ideal candidate will have a background in Mechanical or Electronic Engineering with relevant qualifications. Comprehensive training on Getinge equipment will be provided by our in-house training team. Our Career Progression Pathway assesses your development bi-annually, rewarding learning and growth.

Day-to-day responsibilities include:

  • Providing excellent customer service with professional interpersonal skills
  • Performing routine testing and mechanical servicing of equipment
  • Problem solving with initiative and a logical approach
  • Electrical/mechanical fault diagnosis
  • Calibrating equipment and reporting faults
  • Managing spare parts stock levels for timely responses
  • Producing quality service documentation
  • Maintaining communication with internal departments and managers
  • Following proper return and non-conformance procedures
  • Organizing workload and responding promptly to customer calls
  • Participating in out-of-hours standby on a rota basis
  • Producing accurate reports and validation documentation
  • Supporting team members as needed
  • Providing sales leads to Service/Sales Managers
  • Adhering to Quality System, Health & Safety policies

Who you are:

We seek passionate, resilient individuals who take responsibility for their development and aim for excellence. If you enjoy working in diverse, international teams, value quality, and prioritize customer satisfaction, we want to hear from you.

Requirements:

  • A recognized qualification in Electrical, Electronic, or Mechanical Engineering (e.g., City & Guilds Levels 1 & 2 or equivalent)
  • Experience in field-based work
  • IT skills, including Microsoft Office and CRM systems like GForce
  • Strong work ethic and organizational skills
  • Positive attitude, teamwork, and willingness to travel and work away from home
  • Flexibility and adaptability under pressure
  • Excellent communication skills and customer focus

What we offer:

We provide a competitive compensation and benefits package supporting your well-being and goals. Our flexible working patterns, family-friendly policies, and benefits such as private healthcare, travel allowance, bonus scheme, shopping discounts, and Employee Assistance Programme are designed to promote a healthy work-life balance.
