About the Role

Hays Building Services is assisting a leading tech company in recruiting a Facilities Manager for their Oxford team.

Responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining and optimizing the facility to ensure full operational efficiency, energy conservation, and resilience against power, telecom, and environmental challenges.
  • Overseeing electrical, mechanical, and telecom systems, including Critical Power Supply and Building Management Systems (BMS).
  • Developing and implementing preventative maintenance plans.
  • Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations through regular risk assessments.
  • Managing contractors and service providers.
  • Driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance facility efficiency, reduce costs, and promote sustainability.
Candidate Requirements
  • Proven experience in a senior facilities management role, preferably in high-tech or commercial environments.
  • Strong knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships with contractors, vendors, and internal teams.
Benefits

This role offers a salary between £40,000 and £60,000 per annum, depending on experience, with excellent benefits, on a permanent contract.
