We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Assistant Geologist to support our Geotechnical team. Your role will involve assisting with testing and monitoring building foundations across various projects. Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

• Preparing Health & Safety documentation for site works and managing safety protocols
• Assisting with planning, supervision, and scheduling of Ground Investigation projects nationwide
• Logging Soil and Rock samples according to specifications and BS5930:2015+A1:2020
• Maintaining accurate field records
• Performing in-situ testing and sampling in line with standards
• Liaising with clients, engineers, and contractors during site works
• Conducting post-site visits for monitoring
• Managing and analyzing site data using company software
• Compiling factual reports
• Adhering to Health and Safety regulations

Candidate requirements:

• Degree in a geotechnical discipline
• Full UK driving license
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Effective communication skills
• Attention to detail
• Mobility, flexibility, and commitment
