Our client, a well-established and professional geotechnical and geo-environmental engineering consultancy, is currently seeking an experienced Engineering Geologist / Geotechnical Engineer to join their growing team in Exeter. Engineering Geologist / Geotechnical Engineer Job Overview

• Conduct pre-commencement desk study research and report preparation.
• Supervise and carry out ground investigations, including soil and rock logging to industry standards.
• Liaise with clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies to ensure successful project outcomes.
• Prepare samples and schedule laboratory testing.
• Produce site logs, data, and contribute to factual and interpretive reports.

Engineering Geologist / Geotechnical Engineer Job Requirements

• A degree in Geology, Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field (Master's degree is advantageous).

• 1-3 years of relevant experience in geotechnical/engineering geology roles.
• A strong desire to pursue CPD and work towards professional chartership (CGeol, CEng, CSci).
• Basic IT literacy, numeracy, and communication skills.
