Job Description:

Operations and Maintenance Engineer

We are seeking an Operations & Maintenance Engineer to work on Highways England Contracts, focusing on maintenance and commissioning activities within your designated area, including major motorways such as M25, M4, M11, and others.

You will work with a supportive team, using your initiative to solve field issues related to telecommunications infrastructure, including cable repairs, equipment commissioning, and maintenance of fibre and copper networks.

Responsibilities:

• Attending to cable breaks and repairs on copper and fibre cables.
• Ensuring all equipment commissioning is completed to standard, on time, and within budget.
• Responding to equipment issues within Transmission Buildings and Roadside Cabinets.
• Performing general maintenance, testing, and documentation.
