IT Support Technician

My client is a growing IT Managed Services provider working with schools, nurseries, and colleges across three countries. All their services are tailored to the specific needs of educational institutions, focusing on improving pupil outcomes.

They are seeking a motivated, hardworking individual passionate about technology and education. The company offers excellent career development opportunities, along with a structured professional development and training scheme.

Responsibilities
  1. Carrying out day-to-day 1st & 2nd line support tasks
  2. Responding to helpdesk requests both on-site and remotely
  3. Desktop, AV, server, and network troubleshooting
  4. Basic hardware and software repairs
  5. Deployment of hardware and software
  6. Maintaining network documentation and reporting
  7. Assisting with customer sales requests
  8. Providing technical guidance and support to school staff
Requirements
  • Full UK driving license
  • 2+ years in a similar role
  • Experience in AV installations
  • Familiarity with AutoTask or other helpdesk solutions (desirable)
  • CompTIA A+ or equivalent experience
  • Experience with Google G-Suite & Office 365
  • Knowledge of remote access technologies (TeamViewer, Datto RMM)
Details
  • Working hours: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours/week (Full time)
  • Salary: £21,000 – £25,000 (DOE)
  • Benefits: 25 days holiday including bank holidays, pension, private health cover, membership of employee ownership trust, paid training, and personal development plan
