A leading UK food distributor seeks a Buying Assistant to manage stock planning and supplier relationships. The role involves analyzing performance, ensuring product availability, and collaborating with teams for optimal supply chain management. The ideal candidate will have experience in the food industry and strong analytical skills.
You will be responsible for accurate stock management planning and forecasting for your range, managing optimum stock levels to ensure availability and profit targets are achieved.
Working closely with the Senior Buyer in your area, you will analyze range performance, launch new products, and deliver long-term improvements in availability and waste.
