Account Manager

Job brief

We’re looking for a passionate, driven and organised person to join Sponge’s team as Account Manager. You’ll be working across a wide range of projects including print, digital, and video.

We need someone who is proactive and keen to roll their sleeves up and get stuck into day-to-day account management. You will need to build strong relationships with both colleagues and clients in order to deliver an exceptional client experience.

The role

You will be responsible for the planning, managing, and successful delivery of projects, as well as building and maintaining strong customer relationships.

Responsibilities

• Manage and deliver projects on time and within budget;
• Create estimates, projects, purchase orders and tasks, scheduling work to ensure projects run smoothly through the agency;
• Manage suppliers ensuring the best price and service;
• Write briefs for our creative team to action; and
• Assist the wider team with day-to-day administrative tasks as required.

Requirements and skills

• Previous experience of working in an account/project management role is essential, preferably in a creative agency environment;
• Proven track record of meeting client requirements and delivering projects on time and to budget;
• Excellent relationship building and communication skills;
• Understanding of how to deliver both print and digital projects;
• Outstanding organisational skills and ability to prioritise tasks;
• A keen eye for detail and a calm approach when under pressure;
• The ability to solve problems and think creatively, coupled with the passion and drive to deliver great work;
• An understanding of how a commercial business operates; and
• Comfortable working in a Mac environment.

Salary

£30k per annum.

We are happy to hear from people looking to work three or four days per week, as well as those looking for a full-time position.

The Sponge office is based in Norwich city centre, but the team currently work flexibly between home and office. (All staff are required to work a minimum of two days per week in the office, usually Wednesdays and Thursdays.)

This position will be fully office based for the first week of employment.
