We’re now looking for a Shacks Chef to join our Shack family.

We seek someone dependable, organized, and passionate about delivering consistently great food, fast.

What You'll Do

1. Prepare and serve hot and cold food to Rockwater standards
2. Maintain high levels of hygiene and cleanliness at all times
3. Follow food safety procedures and complete relevant checklists (e.g., fridge temps, cleaning records)
4. Work efficiently in a small team, supporting colleagues during busy periods
5. Ensure the Shack is stocked, prepped, and ready for the day ahead
6. Keep wastage to a minimum and store food correctly
7. Deliver the “Rockwater Experience” with a positive attitude and pride in your work
8. Support with opening and closing duties following daily checklists

The Ideal Candidate

• Previous experience in a fast-paced food or kitchen environment (e.g., cafe, food truck, kiosk, QSR)
• Basic food prep skills with a keen eye for presentation
• Passionate about cleanliness and organization
• A calm, positive team player – even under pressure
• Confident in handling food safely and following allergen procedures
• Excellent time management and reliability
