Senior Education Officer
Are you passionate about environmental issues, particularly nature restoration, climate resilience, and biodiversity?
Do you have experience working with young audiences, preferably within a wildlife or conservation setting? Do you have a good grasp of ecology and are willing to travel around the country to support educational opportunities? Are you confident running sessions or delivering train-the-trainer sessions online?
We are seeking a Senior Education Officer with the skills to inspire people to connect with nature, support teachers, deliver talks, presentations, and education sessions, and develop further learning opportunities within the team, focusing on beavers.
Includes 25 days holiday, Christmas to New Year paid, 6 floating holidays (pro-rata), flexible hours, pension contributions (3%), ergonomic office support, home working allowance, and annual device maintenance contributions.
5pm on Tuesday, 20th May. We reserve the right to interview and close early if a suitable candidate is found.
The role involves developing and implementing educational outreach across Wales, Scotland, and England, with funding from the National Lottery Heritage Fund for three years. The focus is on engaging communities and young people with beavers and nature, delivering high-quality sessions, and developing new resources and activities.
