Job summary

bMindful Psychology is seeking an HCPC-registered Educational Psychologist to join our multi-disciplinary team in the North West, Greater Manchester. The role involves working across mainstream and specialist settings to support children with SEN and those looked after, with flexible, hybrid hours.

Job Summary

We are seeking an innovative and HCPC-registered Educational Psychologist to join our growing team. This is a varied and rewarding role, offering the opportunity to work across multiple settings including mainstream and specialist schools, colleges, nurseries, EOTIS, neurodevelopmental assessment services, and residential environments.You will play a key role in supporting children and young people with complex needs, particularly those with SEN and those who are looked after (CLA).

Key Responsibilities

• Work directly with children and young people to understand their needs, strengths, and aspirations
• Conduct high-quality psychological assessments
• Collaborate with schools, educators, and parents/carers to implement effective support plans
• Develop and deliver tailored interventions to support learning, emotional wellbeing, and social development
• Provide training and workshops on SEN, neurodiversity, trauma, and attachment
• Produce clear, high-quality, person-centred reports
• Contribute to service development and promote inclusive practices
• Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to develop formulations and intervention plans
• Contribute to neurodevelopmental assessments (where appropriate and within competency)

Qualifications and Skills

• Is registered with the HCPC
• Experienced working with neurodivergent children and/or children in care
• Has strong knowledge of SEN, trauma-informed approaches, and attachment theory
• Is confident in delivering evidence-based assessments and interventions
• Communicates effectively and builds strong professional relationships
• Is passionate about inclusion and neuro-affirming practice
• Thrives in collaborative, multi-agency environments
