Job summary

Pulse Healthcare is recruiting a HCPC-registered psychologist to join an independent specialist day school in Hinckley, Leicestershire. The role covers Clinical, Educational, Forensic or Counselling psychology to support children and young people with SEMH needs and related trauma.

You will deliver assessments, formulations, and interventions within a multidisciplinary team, provide staff training, and help create therapeutic living and learning environments.

Qualifications

  • HCPC registered as Clinical, Educational, Forensic or Counselling Psychologist.
  • Experience assessing, formulating, and delivering interventions for children with complex needs.
  • Ability to provide staff consultation and training.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver specialist psychological assessments, formulations, and interventions for children and young people with complex needs.
  • Collaborate with educational and residential teams to create therapeutic living and learning environments.
  • Provide consultation, training, and guidance to staff to ensure clinically informed care.
  • Contribute to a joined-up clinical model across schools and children’s homes.
  • Support development of strategies that promote positive outcomes for young people.

We’re recruiting for a Clinical, Educational, Forensic or Counselling Psychologist to join the team at an independent specialist day school in Hinckley, Leicestershire. Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  • Deliver specialist psychological assessments, formulations, and interventions for children and young people with complex needs.

Qualifications & Experience
  • HCPC registration as a Clinical, Educational, Forensic or Counselling Psychologist
  • Experience in assessing, formulating, and delivering interventions for children and young people with complex needs
  • Ability to provide consultation and training to staff teams
  • Strong organisational skills and a proactive approach
  • Experience within SEMH or SEND settings
  • Knowledge of trauma-informed care and neurodevelopmental conditions
