Job summary

Outcomes First Group is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join the in-house clinical team at Wessex Lodge School, Somerset. You will deliver bespoke OT assessment and intervention to pupils who may be neurodivergent or have SEMH needs, collaborating with the education team to promote independence and well-being.

This role offers a full-time schedule (37.5 hours), support from a designated clinical supervisor, and a £2000 CPD training allowance after probation.

Qualifications

• Recognised Occupational Therapy degree.
• Valid and up-to-date HCPC Registration.
• Registered member of RCOT.
• Experience in providing OT services in a school/education setting is preferable.
• Ability to work with neurodivergent pupils and those with SEMH needs.
• Strong report writing and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver bespoke Occupational Therapy assessment and intervention to pupils.
• Collaborate with education teams to support independence and outcomes.
• Hold an OT caseload with supervision from Lead Clinician and Clinical Supervisor.
• Support safeguarding and contribute to staff training and consultation as required.
