Dorset Mental Health Support Teams in Schools seek Qualified Education Mental Health Practitioners to work in North and East Dorset. You must have completed an accredited PGDip EMHP training course with a recognised university to be eligible for this role. We offer a relocation package up to £10,000.

Mansioni

• Deliver evidence-based interventions for children and young people with mild to moderate mental health difficulties.
• Identify those needing additional or specialist support and facilitate access to services.
• Collaborate with school and college staff to support identification and management of mental health and wellbeing needs.
• Build effective partnerships with education settings to improve access to mental health support.
• Promote integrated care by working across education and mental health services.
• Use professional knowledge to deliver safe, effective, person-centred support.
• Work within governance frameworks and seek supervision as appropriate.
• Promote positive mental health and emotional wellbeing with families, carers and education professionals.
