Dorset HealthCare University NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting an Education Mental Health Practitioner to support children and young people across Dorset educational settings. You will deliver evidence-based interventions, identify needs and work with schools to improve mental health access and wellbeing.

Applicants must have an accredited PGDip EMHP, be able to work autonomously with supervision, and be committed to safeguarding and integrated care across education and health services.

Qualifikationen

• Candidates must hold an accredited PGDip EMHP training course.
• Degree-level study is required.
• Strong written and oral communication skills are essential.
• IT literate and able to work in teams.
• Driver with access to a vehicle is preferred.
• Experience with children and young people and safeguarding knowledge is required.
• Familiarity with the education system is desirable.

• Deliver evidence-based interventions for children and young people with mild to moderate mental health difficulties.
• Identify those needing additional or specialist support and facilitate access to services.
• Collaborate with schools to support mental health and wellbeing needs.

• Adhere to governance frameworks and seek supervision as appropriate.
