Job summary

Planet Recruitment seeks a proactive ICT Technician to provide dedicated IT support for a group of primary schools in Swindon. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain Windows/macOS, Office 365, AD accounts, and AV equipment while delivering excellent customer service.

You must drive and manage your own ticket queue, ensuring SLAs are met. The role emphasizes safeguarding and collaboration with teachers, staff, and students.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in IT support, including desktop support.
• Experience with Windows 10/11, Mac OS, networking and hardware repairs.
• Familiarity with Active Directory and Office 365 administration.
• Excellent customer service and safeguarding-aware communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1st and 2nd line ICT/AV support for users.
• Administer user accounts and Office 365 configurations.
• Maintain system hygiene, antivirus checks and security monitoring.
• Keep accurate tickets, inventory, and documentation in the IT Helpdesk system.
• Coordinate with vendors and support providers to resolve issues.
• Assist with onboarding/offboarding and cloud services.
