Job summary

Walsall College in the United Kingdom is seeking Educational English British Sign Language Interpreters to join us to provide support for staff and students in a professional educational setting.

You will interpret across courses from Entry Level to Higher Education Level and will also interpret for deaf staff in staff meetings and at events such as Open Days and award ceremonies, contributing to inclusive communication and safeguarding in our diverse community.

Job description

We are currently looking for Educational English British Sign Language Interpreters to join us to provide support for staff and students in a professional educational setting.

You will work with a wide range of students with various communication needs on the BSL continuum on courses ranging from Entry Level to Higher Education Level across a wide range of subjects.

You will also interpret for deaf staff, in staff meetings and during additional events such as Out of College Activities, Award Ceremonies and Open Days.
